Getting the Most from Your Dehumidifier

Even though we are fast approaching the official end of summer, Palm Beach Gardens will continue to experience several months of high temperatures. The Water Collection Tank

For almost every dehumidification system, the water collection tank must be emptied manually. As late summer approaches, check to see if these parts of your dehumidifier are in need of professional cleaning. Leaving these parts dirty can cause blockages within the system. Proper cleaning will improve the system’s efficiency.

Check the Motor

The fan motor on your system is a vital piece of the machinery, and it’s fairly easy to check on this. If the fan itself doesn’t seem to be rotating smoothly, it’s entirely likely that you will need a new motor. Given the complexity and sensitivity of this task, it’s best to leave the replacement itself to an expert.
